How to Grill Endive

How to Grill Endive

Grilling season is here! Grills and grill pans aren’t just for burgers. Not that a juicy burger isn’t fantastic, ’cause they are BUT I’ve learned that you can put just about anything on a grill.  Grilled fruits and vegetables are some of my favorite foods to grill. Grilled peaches oh yeah. Grilled avocados. Oh Mamma. Grilled endive. Yes please. It’s easy peasy and is the perfect accompaniment to a steak. Go ahead, and give it a whirl sizzle!
While you’re steaks (or entree of choice) are on the grill, just add your halved, lightly drizzled and seasoned endive. 2 heads of grilled endive is enough to feed a family of 4 as a side dish. If you need more, just throw a few more on the grill. It’s almost effortless and guess what? There’s hardly any dishes to do when you get your grill on. Big bonus points in my house.
Endive isn’t just a pretty face. Oh no. Did you know that One Cup of Endive a Week Can Reduce the Risk of Ovarian Cancer by 75%?
